Think seriously about getting the Covid vaccination.

CAMPAIGN

Lancashire County Council and Preston City Council required an imaginative campaign that will help increase vaccine take-up within a hard-to-reach group.

With a decrease in vaccinations among a specific demographic, and a growing antipathy toward having a vaccination the campaign needs to be focused on carefully honed messages that will educate, inform and encourage vaccination bookings.

Campaign Themes

To encourage sign up we need to deliver messages via three simple themes of work, rest and play.

WORK – being vaccinated means you’re less likely to be off work with a serious illness.

REST – if you’re going on holiday, some countries will require you to be vaccinated.

PLAY – enjoy your social life safe in the knowledge you’re vaccinated.

Introducing an element of humour in key areas to encourage memorable engagement and connect more with the demographic.

The campaign ran through social media and radio as well as strategic outdoor advertising and PR.
